To improve site resilience during major grid outages, SISO engineered and deployed a custom Black Start solution for an electrical generating facility. The system integrated new control narratives, HMI modifications, and additional BOP coordination logic, allowing the facility’s LMS100 turbines to start independently without external grid power. Since commissioning, the Black Start system has successfully restored generation following two separate utility outages, positioning the facility as a critical grid stability resource for the region.
